Midwinter online mini-retreat

Owing to popular demand, I’ll be hosting a mini-retreat in the period between Christmas and New Year. This is a wonderful time of year to dedicate some time and space to support yourself as you reflect on the previous year and begin to turn towards your intentions for the new year. It can also be a time of holiday activities and family commitments. This retreat is designed to accommodate both - we will spend 90 minutes together each day for five days (sessions will be recorded in case you can’t attend live), exploring a range of practices within a retreat container which is designed to hold you as you spend the rest of the day in whatever way works best for you - whether that’s meditation practice, outings with family, or eating Quality Street and wondering what day of the week it is…

The journey of retreat is one of deep learning and exploration, and building the capacity to attend to yourself with kind awareness. This retreat is for you if:

  • you’d like to take some time and space for reflection and supportive practice ahead of the new year, but are short on time or are new to retreat

  • you’d like the opportunity to explore a range of practices within a guided, supportive, environment

  • you’d like the opportunity to practice with a community of others from the comfort and privacy of home

We’ll begin with the reflective and inward-looking themes from the winter solstice (come to the winter solstice workshop for more on that!), and gently transition towards the new beginnings and change in energy of the Capricorn new moon on 31 December. The timetable will look different each day, but you can expect to explore:

  • Gentle Kundalini Global yoga, suitable for all (can be done in bed, or on the sofa)

  • Guided and silent meditation

  • Guided journalling and expressive writing

  • Sharing circles

  • Intention setting ceremony

The live sessions will be each day at 17.00 UK / 12.00 EST / 09.00 PCT. The cost is £40.
